LynB Designs is showing the love for her home state with Michigan Mysteries Pt 2. The collection will be for sale Jan 10th-14th. You can enjoy half off with code MICHIGAN.
Hell’s Bridge- electric berry base loaded with pink to orange to gold shifting flakies and scattered black micro flakies. Third photo shown with matte topcoat.
Michigan Stonehenge- buildable blue black base with a rainbow of micro flake shimmer. The first coat seemed so sheer that I was concerned the second wouldn't build up enough, but it did and the result is so pretty!
Pere Cheney- copper/brown base with a hint of plum filled with copper to gold shifting shimmer. This gives a metallic pearlescent vibe. If you're not keen to the brush-strokey pattern, try sponging on w/a makeup sponge!
Phantom Piper- muted brown with green to blue to purple magnetic shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. I used a horseshoe magnet in a non-traditional way. I placed my finger on top of the magnet turned 90 degrees/perpendicular to the usual direction of how a finger is placed in the valley of the U. This results in a line that moves across the middle of the nail horizontally instead of vertically. So I get a Ruffian look or a funky french look, depending on viewing angle of the nail.
Snake Goddess of Belle Isle- emerald green base with copper shimmer. I think the green base tempers the copper into looking like a golden/brassy shimmer.
The Smeet Frog- grungy brown/green base with purple to red shifting shimmer. This one really freaked my camera out. I could not capture the purple shift on the nail but it's seen in the bottle and in person.
Three Sisters of Lake Superior- midnight blue base with gold to green to blue shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. What a striking shade! This one left me speechless. If you can only get one from this collection, this is THAT one.
Torch Lake Monster- navy blue base with murky red to orange shifting shimmer
True Love’s Kiss- muted sky blue base with pink to gold to green shifting shimmer. The green shift is very subtle, but it's there. It can be seen in my photos on the side of the nail furthest from the light source.
All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb and white background with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL.
