Ticket sales for next year's Polish & Beauty Expo are opening soon!

What: Polish & Beauty Expo (PBE) is an annual US event that began in 2020. It aims to provide in-person connections for indie nail polish and beauty makers with customers and fans. Organized by the KBShimmer owner, Christy Rose, PBE is a showcase for nail polish and beauty vendors from across the world. The 2 day event offers shopping, learning, and the opportunity to connect with brands and other polish fans.

I have attended the event as Press for the past two years and I always have a blast!! I'm usually running a bit amok with snapping photos and taking video for the event. So if you see me, please do stop me, say hello, and grab a selfie with me if you'd like. I enjoy meeting others at these events and I would love to meet you!




A note from Christy with reminders and changes for this year:

• VIP and VIP Bundle ticket numbers have increased! But even with the increase, not everyone that wants VIP will be able to get them.  
• Polish Making Workshop ticket numbers have increased. Workshop attendees must also have tickets for the Sunday shopping day and are limited to attending only 1 session. No exceptions, as this enables as many people as possible to be able to experience this workshop. Children 12+ only. No non-ticketed guests will be allowed; each attendee requires a ticket (contact the PBE team if you have questions or concerns about their policies.
• Eventbrite claims to have a cart hold. We have that set for 10 minutes. Once you get tickets in your cart, do not hit the back button, change screens, do anything but check out. There is no cart icon to bring you back to the tickets if you close out of move off of the checkout screen and you will lose those tickets. Safari is not the friendliest for checking out, so I suggest you use a computer on Firefox or Chrome if you can. 
• Check back! Due to the cart hold, things will show sold out even if people have not paid. After 10 minutes, tickets may open up again. So refreshing the page starting at 10 minutes after may allow you to snag one of those coveted tickets. I will work through refund requests as quickly as I can, but please allow 24 hours if you make a mistake for me to get that processed. 
• PayPal is the only payment method we are accepting through Eventbrite. Make sure you have your account set up, or click on the option to use PayPal as a guest to process the payment. 
• Like last year, taxes and Eventbrite fees will be added on by Eventbrite at checkout. 
• There will be a dedicated chat thread, and post approval will be on. Negative posts complaining about not getting VIP or workshop tickets will not be approved. There will be a wait list thread posted 12/02, time TBD. Rude comments will not be tolerated and please don't make me cry. 
• There is still only 1 swag bag per person, and you must be there in person to pickup your swag bag. No exceptions. 
• The hotel block will be post on or after 12/2, so only ticketed attendees take up rooms. I am so excited for PBE 2025! I hope you are too! Please join the facebook group to stay informed! I will also be posting photos from the 2024 event in the facebook group soon. Don't miss out!

Berry & Bright is a vibrant cherry red nail polish, perfect for the holiday season. Near metallic in finish, this crimson shade catches the light with hints of cardinal red and raspberry. Under certain lights, you might even see a hint of copper or gold. This subtly shifting shade will remain a favorite long after the holiday season ends.




Bundled Up nail polish pays tribute to those colorful winter outfits. A vibrant grape base sets off a vivid teal shimmer, which quickly flips to shades of royal blue, green, and indigo.




Crushing It is a green magnetic nail polish inspired by crushed velvet. A deep forest green base is complemented by a vibrant green magnetic pigment, shown in the velvet manicure look, done with a horseshoe magnet. It can also be worn in traditional magnetic styles or without the magnet for a bright green metallic effect.




Flocking Fabulous nail polish is a nod to flocked trees. A white crelly base provides a modern holiday palette of glitters, with a fun mix of fuchsia and icy blue hex glitters accenting the traditional red and green. Large fuchsia and green dot glitters mimic hanging ornaments, making this polish perfect for the Christmas season.




Get Your Knit Together nail polish is a tribute to the art of knitting. A deep indigo, blurple-leaning jelly base provides the perfect background for iridescent flakes. These iridescent flakes, shifting from fuchsia to purple and aqua to blue, share space with black flakes, creating a complex polish that pairs perfectly with your favorite sweater.




How Noble is a deep teal jelly nail polish filled with color-shifting flakes that showcase a range of blue, teal, green, and sapphire hues. Black flakes add depth to this polish.




In A Flurry is a silver prismatic nail polish topper. Holographic flakes catch the light, offering a glowy rainbow of colors. In low light, the silver color of the flakes shines through. One coat shown over KBShimmer Take Back Ctrl. Layer two coats for extra impact. The holographic flakes vary in size and are as unique as snowflakes, perfect for any manicure.




A classic shade from 2013, Kringle All The Way is a Christmas-inspired glitter nail polish topper that features a mix of metallic glitters in sizes from extra small to extra-large. Bright red, silver, green, and holographic circle glitters create a festive feel, while micro and small hex glitters add a touch of sparkle. Shown over KBShimmer Happy Camper.

For best results with thick glitter-heavy formulas, I prefer to use a makeup sponge to dab them on. The sponge soaks up most of the clear, leaving the glitter stuck down well. Another option is to use a toothpick or dotting tool to manually place the larger glitters, or dab on and then use the brush to distribute. Afterward, I applied Smooth Moves and then Clearly On Top for a glass-like finish.




Perfectly Seasoned is a spice-inspired linear holo nail polish. Its warm-toned, light caramel tan base is perfectly complemented by a strong linear holo flame, while red undertones mimic a dash of cinnamon.




Present Tense is a bold purple nail polish with a warm magenta shimmer. The shade shifts from flirty fuchsia to grape and more, as a glowy shimmer moves through hues of pink and purple. In some lights, the purple takes on blue undertones, making this a captivating shade.




Skating By is a pale, icy blue nail polish loaded with glowing holo flakes and color-shifting shimmer. While the silvery flakes add sparkle, hints of soft peach and warm gold accent the blue base, giving it touches of mint and teal.




Watts Going On is a black reflective polish with a hidden surprise. Reflective glitters catch the light, revealing a rainbow of colors, reminiscent of colorful holiday light displays. In low light, the polish appears as a deep charcoal with a subtle twinkle. Under bright light or flash, this polish sparkles like a large light display. I used one coat of Smooth Moves followed by Clearly On Top for a glass-like finish.




Berry Sweet Hand & Body Sugar Scrub - Juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, and tart raspberries combine in this scrub for the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Notes of vanilla cream, musk, and bergamot round out the fragrance notes, offering complexity to this fruity scent. Swirls of red and pink add a berry-appealing look to the cream-colored base.
Super sugary and sweet smelling, I love it!




Peppermint Cocoa Hand & Body Sugar Scrub - Smells like a delicious mint chocolate candy accented by rich vanilla and notes of dark cocoa, making this scrub the perfect treat for yourself or someone you love.




All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb and white background with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL. The scrub photo are shown with Candy Cane Crush over a light pink shimmer.
