The Crackle Basics are launching Oct 11th at the LynB Designs Website. They're not included in the half off sale mentioned in my Moira review, but there are many other polishes in the shop that are.
I learned something about crackles that I had no idea until I did this collection. One of the other LynB swatchers from our team was kind enough to help me out with this tip. So I'm sharing it forward with you! Crackle polish will crack best when worn over dry nail polish or base. I did not know this and was putting it (the pink one) over a polish I'd only had on for maybe 30 minutes. When I started letting the base color dry overnight I got tons of crackles with all the rest of the colors! So if you're struggling w/them try letting your base color dry longer. These are totally worth that wait for such a cool effect!
Black- black crackle finish polish shown over Inamorata
Chocolate- dark chocolate brown crackle polish shown over Heuristic.
Deep Green- dark cool toned green crackle polish shown over Infelicitous.
Pink- bright pink crackle finish polish shown over Bombilate.
Teal- blue toned teal crackle finish polish shown over Wipeout
Violet- neon violet crackle finish polish shown over Passionate Pink Sunrise.
All of my swatches are shown in one coat over a base color. Two nails are topped with glossy topcoat and two are topped with matte topcoat in each photo. I had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb and white background with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base. I have a fairly prominent VNL.
