Great Lakes Lacquer - Come Again
Inspired by Mariah's love of rain. 'Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day'; She always meant the come again part, when she sang this song.
A smokey navy glowing with a red/orange/gold shifting aurora shimmer. Shown in two coats with topcoat, perfect formula and vibrant shift.

KBShimmer - Lightning Strikes Nail Polish - No Cap
Inspired by storms, the polish has soft glowing holographic flakes that form a base echoing falling rain. A shifting shimmer comes alive in indirect lighting with strong flashes of violet quickly changing into blue and aqua. In bolder lighting, the silvery holo flakes dance within the purple shimmer. Shown in two coats with topcoat, formula perfection, can be used as a topper in one coat. Fantastic shift.
KBShimmer Jasmine & Patchouli Hand & Body Scrub – No Cap
As spring slowly takes over from winter, soft rains help new growth burst forth, filling gardens with flowers and trees with fresh leaves. When the rain ends and the sun breaks through the clouds, that earthy scent of a warming day is comforting. Light breezes carrying the scent of freshly turned earth and blooming gardens are what inspired KBShimmer's March scent.
Jasmine & Patchouli Hand & Body Scrub echoes rainy days, the warm earth, and fresh flowers. This earthy scent starts with notes of soft musk and patchouli. Sweet vanilla sugar and blooming jasmine help round out this clean, fresh scent. Featuring a creamy base accented with yellow and lime swirls, this scrub can be used daily to help keep your skin soft and fragrant.
This scrub scent really surprised me. I almost didn't order it to review but I'm glad I did and I'll tell you why.
A bit of back story: Over the last twenty years I've tried hundreds of patchouli perfume blends and only found one that I liked. I just really do not care for patchouli much. I also don't like jasmine. It reminds me of the spray always found in my grandmother's bathroom. I have not been able to wear perfumes with jasmine in them for this reason. I was skeptical about this scrub scent but I was very pleasantly surprised by it.
On application, I definitely picked up the patchouli notes and not so much the others, after I rinsed though...it was the cleanest scent! It has this touch of earthyness that the patchouli adds, but not in a strong or overpowering way. It's very subtle. If it wasn't on the label, I don't think I would have guessed it was in there. So if you're hesitant, give this a shot - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the scent left on the skin after rinsing.
