Polish Pickup: November 2021

Polish Pickup's theme for November is Game Night. I've got a few items to show you today, these are all launching on Nov 5-8 for pre-order.




KBShimmer That's Taboo
Features those classic ’90s colors seen in both the game and in fashion. A teal base is loaded with holo glow flakes for a silvery holo flash in the sun that accents a rad fuchsia shimmer. The teal color deepens indoors and with indirect lighting, allowing the color-shifting shimmer to shine and shift into shades of lavender and rose pink. A glimmer of peachy gold or a pop of yellow can be seen at some angles. This crelly-like shade covers well in 2-3 coats.




KBShimmer Peppermint scrub
A candy-inspired game and its Peppermint Forest helped inspire the Pure Peppermint Scrub.
Pure peppermint essential oil scents a creamy sugar base swirled with streaks of pink for a minty winter treat for your skin. Peppermint essential oil has a tingly, cooling effect to refresh and pamper tired legs and feet. Patch testing is recommended prior to use and we don’t recommend using peppermint scrub on any sensitive bits; the cooling effect can be intense. The jar has a heat-sealed lid for no leaks in transit. This naturally scented scrub would make a perfect holiday gift!

Don't let my shoddy images fool you, this polish is unlike any purple shifty shimmery polish I have seen in my 12 years of blogging. There is nothing like it in my collection either. The sparkle of the shimmer is intense and the pink/purple/blue shift makes the polish unique. If you're a purple lover, don't sleep on this one!

An orange/red base with red to gold shifting magnetic pull and scattered holo sparkle
I see more of a pink with the magnetic pull on this one. Shown in two coats with topcoat, magnetized with a bar magnet, diagonally. The formula was good, no issues to report.

LynB Designs: Curiosities (for the Charity Box)

LynB Designs is participating in the October Double Feature - Tea Party & Steampunk themed Charity box with Curiosities! It will be available October 7 at noon central through October 16 at 10pm. A portion of every item sold this month will be donated to Angel Flight Soars, Inc and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

2021 HHC Hellaween Giveaway

This one is a morpher when topcoat is applied and is intended to be that way. It is super glowy, and I prefer it with topcoat as shown in the first four images.
Use a good base coat and/or double up on it if you wear enhancements, as it does stain enhancements but does not stain natural nails.



All polishes are shown in two coats with topcoat unless otherwise specified; formulas were good and easy to apply.

The only way to receive the trios is to win them in the HHC giveaways. When the giveaway concludes Oct. 31, HHC may bring the polishes back for pre-order if there is enough interest.
