Atomic Polish sent her two top coats and her sticky base for me to try out! I got good results with each of them. Read on to see what I thought.
GTC - Scented Glossy Top Coat
Choose your own scent from a variety of fragrances! It dries in a couple of minutes and creates a nice hard seal. It has a thin consistency and is said that it can be used as a nail polish thinner without changing the pigment of the polish. 5 Free.
My sample was lemon scented, so yummy! This dries quite fast, I was surprised this wasn't labeled as a quick dry. Nice and glossy, seals well and is fairly thin as she describes on her site.
BC - Sticky Base Coat
a green beauty! Use as a base coat to create a secure polish bond to the nail while still being flexible enough to avoid chipping and peeling.
The Base is 4-Free.
I tested this out for a few weeks with a few different brands of polish and had good results. My polish didn't chip for 7-10 days on both experiments.
QD - Quick Dry Top Coat
Dries in roughly 30 seconds and forms a full seal in 3 minutes. It is non yellowing and chip resistant, dries completely clear with no purple hue. 5 Free.
This should be called blazing fast, and the glossy one should be called fast. :) Yes, it is quick!

Polish Pickup: Urban Legends (part 2)
Urban Legends inspired polishes at Polish Pickup release on October 4 at 10am central and the pre-order ends on October 7. I have a nice sampling here, but do look around the facebook group and other blogs to see more of what is being offered!
1850 Artisan Lacquer Earthquake Weather
A smokey, blackened burgundy that leans slightly toward dark brown and has shifts from golden to burgundy and purple. Topped with iridescent multichrome flakies shifting from gold to green and red.
This enigmatic color is inspired by the Earthquake Weather urban legend popular in Southern California which says that unusually warm weather without any wind is a sign that an earthquake is imminent.
Cap 150
This one is a morhper! In some lighting it looks burgundy and in others brown. I like the smokey effect of this polish! Shown is two coats with topcoat.
Great Lakes Lacquer Nessy
A sea green filled with a silvery green to blue shifting shimmer.
No Cap
The silvery shifting shimmer is super reflective! In some lighting this polish leans more teal and in others more blue. Shown is two coats with topcoat. One thick coat may suffice, as this is fairly opaque.
Literary Lacquers This Dish is Cheap Yet Tasty
Amy's inspiration is from her favorite urban legend which has a few variations. In the older version, a woman loved the Chinese characters on her menu so much that she knitted them into a sweater. In the newer version, it's a tattoo, but the end result is the same. The unsuspecting woman finds out much later that her sweater/tattoo says "This Dish is Cheap Yet Tasty." The color is inspired by Amy's best friend and her obsession with anything Magenta.
No cap
This hue is a favorite of mine, somewhere in between hot pink and purple, very berry and I am loving the linear holo rainbow! Shown is one coat with topcoat.
All the formulas for the polishes in my post are on point; smooth and easy to apply with no issues.

Polish Pickup:Urban Legends (part 1)
Urban Legends inspired polishes at Polish Pickup release on October 4 at 10am central and the per-order ends on October 7. I have a nice sampling here, but do look around the facebook group and other blogs to see more of what is being offered!
Blush The Blue Lady
Inspired by a local legend from Story Inn in Story, Indiana. It is rumored that she haunts one of the rooms at the inn and turns on a blue light.
A silvery blue linear holographic nail polish with a shifting blue to purple shimmer, holographic flakes and small blue holographic glitters.
No Cap
Are you nails dripping in diamonds? The Blue Lady is super sparkly, holo and look at that shimmer! Shown is two coats with topcoat. I typically paint fairly heavy coats, for thinner coats, three may be needed to eliminate vnl.
KBShimmer Hidden Agenda
Inspired by the urban legends of Area 51 and the rumors of hidden aliens and spaceship sightings. It is so ingrained in our culture that there's an event planned this year for people to storm the area and find the truth.
No Cap
Hidden Agenda
A matted finished, thermal, glow in the dark polish with a slate blue base when cold and dusty pink when warm. The polish is packed with shimmer, an alien shade of green. In the dark, the polish can glow in a range of yellows to greens and sometimes both if the thermal look is activated.
What a fun and unique polish! I cannot recall having seen a polish that is both thermal and glows different colors depending on its temperature, in the dark. Truly unique and a first. Two coats, no topcoat to show off it's matte effect.
KBShimmer Pumpkin Patch Sugar Scrub
Inspired by It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. A tale where Linus believed that The Great Pumpkin would fly around and visit children, and leave toys for children who believed.
Pumpkin Patch starts with sweet notes of baked pumpkin and is accented with spicy clove and warm vanilla. Cinnamon and nutmeg combine with deeper woody notes and hints of incense. This is not your standard pumpkin!
No Cap
Like Christy describes, definitely different from other pumpkin scented items I've sniffed. This is warm and baked pumpkin, with a dusting of spice. Usually, I'm off put by strong cinnamon but this is just the right balance for my nose to love. :) Outside that, Christy's scrubs soften my skin really nicely. I use them primarily for my hands, and in winter for my legs. The scrub helps seal the moisture in my skin to combat those harsh dry winter winds.
Lollipop Posse Victorian Oddities
Inspired by the haunted Victorian homes of Cape May, New Jersey. Specifically, the parlor in the haunted Emlen Physick Estate.
A bright turquoise crelly with gold flake accents, topped off with gold/green shifting Aurora shimmer.
No Cap
A turquoise lagoon swimming in a galaxy of flakes, this polish is one you won't want to miss! Giving a nod to summer, and perhaps a prelude to winter. Shown is two coats with topcoat.
