We’re Simply Meant To Be. - Light Blue holo multichrome flakies, and ultra holo glitter.
I applied two smooth coats for opacity and just look at that shimmer and sparkle!






What’s This? What’s This? - Black jelly with rainbow multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitter.
Two coats are shown here, and I was impressed that such a dark base doesn't drown the vibrant color of the flakes.

1850 Artisan: Chic Beach Weekend

1850 Artisan has released the Chic Beach Weekend. A beautiful trio of neutral creams that will help you create a chic California casual look for your weekend getaways. Launch is Saturday, July 28th at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern.



Pismo Beach
Pismo Beach is a cool neutral cream that is perfect for a clean, chic look as you walk down the boardwalk or search for shells.






Marina del Rey
Marina del Rey is a clear, pale blue cream that is an excellent addition to a day by the sailboats in the Marina.






Lover’s Point
This pale lavender cream was inspired by a tiny shell found on Lover's Point Beach near Pacific Grove, CA. It is just the right color to accompany California casual beachwear.





I cannot have a set of creams and not try to watermarble with them + Squid Ink, also from 1850 Artisan. I love how this turned out!



For each cream swatch I used two coats and all were opaque and applied like butter. For the matte look, I used kbshimmer Oh Matte!

The trio is fabulous and if you don't have Squid Ink yet, you should definitely pick it up too!

This is a Maui blue crelly polish, shown is two coats with topcoat.






Bottled Water or Sweet Teal
An aqua crelly polish, shown in 3 coats with topcoat.






Live Band or DJ Turn Up!
a pastel pink jelly is filled with large bright pink glitters, shown in a jelly sandwich with Ice-cream Cone or Blue Raspberry Italian Ice. The pink in the base is noticeable in the bottle but I didn't notice the color at all when doing my jelly sandwich so it can definitely be layered in without changing your base shade.





I enjoyed swatching these, and creating the sandwich look with the glitter. The color combination of this set go great together. The formula was fantastic, non-streaky and easy to apply.

Leesha's Lacquer: Beachy Keen Holo Collection

Inspired by the sun, summer and all things beach, pull out your sunglasses for these bright holos from Leesha's Lacquers!




Flippy Floppy’s - A grape purple holo, like the color of your favorite flip flops!






Sand in my Ice Cream - An orange holo, that is reminiscent of what your orange creamsicle used to look like...before you dropped it in the sand of course.






Surf’s Up - A turquoise holo, the same shade as the Caribbean waters.






Ah! I Touched the Seaweed! - A light green holo, be careful where you step!!





I attempted to make this look like a brass leaf with a patina in the gooves. I love how it turned out! I sponged on a brown shimmer polish to help give a more tarnished effect, then stamped with a bright aqua from MdU.




Flamingo Floaty - A poppin’ pink holo, otherwise known as Reginald Flamingo Floaty the third (we don’t talk about the first and second Reginald. Seashells are so sharp!)





Who doesn't love a pink zebra print? This polish makes a fantastic one!

a bright bubblegum pink holo polish with red shimmer, neon pink flakies and purple/pink chameleon flakies

I wore two coats with topcoat, formula was awesome, no issues to report.

Rogue Lacquer: Here We Go Again

Rogue Lacquer's contribution for the August Polish Pickup musical theme is inspired by Mama Mia.

Here We Go Again is a blue-grey crelly polish jam packed with a variety of sparkly flakes and holo shimmer.
Shown is two coats, formula was fantastic and the finish is smooth to the touch. I've added topcoat for a glossy shine.
