Necessary Evil: Galactic Line
My review today features a new to me brand and a fairly new shop.
The brand name was derived from Tamara's motto: "polish and lacquer is a necessary every gal needs and the want for every color becomes an evil obsession" and Necessary Evil Polish was born.
The bottles I received for review were packaged with care in bubble wrap and pretty tissue paper, along with a surprise skeleton gift! The bottle labels are edgy, glam and cute all at the same time.
The Galactic Line is their first collection and is inspired by space. The trio of polishes feature a variety of shades and finishes: a shimmer, a holo flake thermal, and a jelly with ucc flakies.
Venus is a bright pink shimmer polish, the perfect summer shade! I wore two coats with topcoat.
Midnight Constellation is a vampy blue jelly filled with multichrome flake and sparks of holo. I wore two coats with topcoat.
Red Dwarf is a thermal that is red when cool and transitions to a clear very neutral shade when warm that reveals the holo pigment, a coppery shift and opal chameleon flakes. It's super sparkly and beautiful! I wore two coats with topcoat.
The formula for all of these was buttery smooth. The variety of color and finish is great for a trio - office appropriate thermal, a sweet feminine shimmer, and a sexy vampy flakie.
Tamara was a sweetheart to work with, shipped promptly after we spoke, provided details to me so I could write a well informed review, and she's passionate about her work.
Give her brand a try and keep an eye out for new collections!
This is nice!
