Three or more weeks ago, I was on the hunt for a vinyl shop to create my logo for a cup I had purchased for Polish Con. I asked in an indie polish group for recommendations, and several people shared their favorites with me. A few days later, I did some research to see whether they had the colors I wanted and if they did custom work. I had landed on a couple and needed to make a decision. I stepped away from it for a week or so to think about it. I had made a decision finally, and logged into facebook one more time to check the thread in case there were any new links. Then I checked my messages, and noticed that there was one pending in the 'other' folder.
Lelia had sent a sweet message to me offering to make a custom vinyl for me at no charge. What a kind and sweet thing to do! We spoke briefly, I sent her some images and in a day or two, and the package arrived. She had sent not one, but two of them! (the one not pictured here is already on my cup in the other photos)
She asked to see a photo after I applied one to my cup, and I thought I'd do one better and write a review for this sweet gift. :)
The application was super easy too. I asked Jas to help hold the cup steady, then I lined up the vinyl and stuck it down. Burnishing it with a gift card was fun, reminiscent of the scraping when doing a stamping polish mani!
I took a few photos from different angles of my new shiny holo cup. What do you think?
I can see how these custom vinyls from Green Goddess Creations could easily become an obsession of mine. They're super fun and can add a personalized touch to anything imaginable!
Thank you ever so much Lelia, the vinyls are perfect!

Awesome Sauce Box: Are you a hero or a villain?
Are you a hero or a villain? is the theme for the Awesome Sauce Box this round and I'm happy to be able to review it for you! The box comes with five polishes, a matte topcoat mini from Ever After, a cuticle oil from Anonymous Lacquer, heart shaped soap from Parrot Polish, and a Moyou London stamping plate and nail file from Beautometry.
And with Matte Top Coat!
Nail Art! I received plate 03 and this is what I created with it.
I hope you've enjoyed my review! These boxes are available for pre-order right now at the Awesome Sauce Shop!
Parrot Polish MagnetoI used a China Glaze star magnet over this and while I can see the design in person, it did not translate on camera very well. The polish dries fairly quick, so take care to magnetize after each nail. Formula was smooth and easy to apply, though I think the brushes are slightly long for the bottle, mine was bowed a wee bit.
Magneto throughout the years had many costumes. Most were black to purple pink. Always deep and rich colors to show his villainous evil side. (magnetic polish)
Takko CruellaA fairly smooth glitter topper, I wore one coat over Magneto.
A gorgeous top coat loaded with gold flakes and white and black matte speckles inspired by Cruella DeVille
Anonymous Lacquer Ms. Ivy LeagueSuch a beautiful deep murky green shade that glows kelly green when light hits it. I wore two easy coats.
Inspired by Poison ivy this is a deep green scattered holo w/ red micro holo glitter. Also featuring a Jojoba Cuticle oil with cucucmber melon, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, coconut oil and fragrance.
Ever After Polish RavenGreat formula and smooth flakies! I wore two coats for photos.
Inspired by Mystique this polish is a deep blue with multi color shifting flakes and loaded with sparkle it pairs well wit he included matter top coat.
And with Matte Top Coat!
Lavish Polish Daddy's Little MonsterA squishy jelly with subtle glitter showing through. Smooth easy formula, I wore two coats.
Inspired by the original Harley Quinn it has a black jelly base with red and gold small and micro holo glitters
Nail Art! I received plate 03 and this is what I created with it.
I hope you've enjoyed my review! These boxes are available for pre-order right now at the Awesome Sauce Shop!
