Brand new from Candy Lacquer is this PB&J duo! This is the first time I've reviewed for Candy Lacquer, but I am definitely already familiar with the brand. All the polishes I've ordered previously have been more beautiful than the photos in the shop, have smooth and consistent formulas, and shipped to me super fast. Sandra, the owner, is very kind and fun to work with! Not to mention the fun names she comes up with for each polish - which usually share what her inspiration was for the creation.
Peanut Butter Girl is a light orange brown holographic with pink shimmer throughout. Like it's namesake, it's a peanut buttery color! I wore two coats with topcoat for the photos. Formula was smooth and consistent, no clumping or pulling.
Jelly Candy looks just like a yummy grape jelly! It is described as a deep orchid holographic with multi colored shimmer. I wore two coats with topcoat for a glossy finish, as this dries semi-matte on its own. Formula was smooth and consistent, no clumping or pulling. The accent nail is a base of Peanut Butter Girl, stamped with MdU and a jelly looking stamp design.
I hope you have enjoyed this duo as much as I have! It is launching Friday April 22 at 9am Central.
I also have some of the already launched spring shades coming up in a future review. Stay tuned!

My Indie Polish: Summer Festival Trio
It has been almost two years since I've reviewed for and used the My Indie Polish brand. I have to say, this brand has come a long way and I'm impressed. Tanya and her son create the polishes together. They've created a super bright and fun Summer Festival trio!
Field Party is soft sky blue full of party confetti! The shaped colorful glitters are bright and fun, cling to the brush easily with no fishing. I wore two smooth coats, no streaking or pulling. I topped with Gelous then topcoat for extra shine!
Neon Coral is a super bright shade! I've left the last image dark to really show off the color since my camera refuses to shoot it accurately. It's definitely neon! I kept an accent of Field Party, I love it so! I wore two coats of Neon Coral, the application is smooth if care is taken not to swipe more than a few times in the same spot. Letting this dry for a few minutes between coats is also suggested.
Neon Lime is my kinda color! Super bright and fun, very eye catching! The formula was thinner than the neon coral and easy to apply - same technique as the coral will help prevent any lumps as neons are prone to if the brush is swiped multiple times in the same spot. I wore three coats with topcoat.
Tanya also sent a sample of her cuticle cream to me. I used it all over both hands and it felt really moisturizing. It's very lightly scented and clean smelling.
The Summer Festival collection launches on Saturday April 16, at both of the My Indie Polish shop sites.

The Color Box: Purple Edition
Introducing the very first blogger collaboration box with a single color theme, The Color Box!
The first box's color theme is purple and will be available for pre-order opens at 2:30pm CDT April 15th for one week. The first 25 boxes ordered will come with a special coloring sheet of our mascat, the Craycorn!
After all pre-orders are shipped out, each brand has the option to stock their own shade in their own shop. Be sure to join the facebook group to vote on the next color and keep up on box related news.
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer and Manna's Manis created Manna's Majestic Masterpiece, a light lilac crelly packed with blue/purple iridescent and silver holo microglitter. Inspired by this photo.
The polish has a clean and fresh look, perfect for any occasion. I wore two coats and topcoat, the formula was fluid and easy to apply, no streaking or clumping.
Ever After and Naked Without Polish created Vivid Violet Voyage, a violet jelly base filled with linear holo, purple holo and metallic glitter in multiple sizes, royal blue glitter, and silver shards.
The formula on this was fantastic and after drying was practically smooth on it's own, although I did add topcoat for a glassy shine. Three coats used for an opaque look, but could possibly be used as a topper in one coat.
Turtle Tootsie Polishes and Amanda Loves Polish created Amanda's Unicorn With A Donut Horn, a pastel purple holo with different size magenta, blue and pink flakies. I really love how this polish has everything going on, yet is subtle from a distance. It's like having secret bling on your nails that only you can see close up! I wore two coats with topcoat and this had an easy smooth formula.
Sweet Heart Polish and Addicted to Polish created Addicted to Purple, a purple jelly with green shimmer & glass flakes with micro holo glitters. Inspired by this photo. I absolutely a-FREAKING-dore this polish! My two favorite colors all in one! The shimmer was being camera shy but is very visible in person. I wore three coats to insure opacity because I tend to paint thin coats when the polish is slightly thicker in formula.
I collaborated with Literary Lacquers to create Soul Within Me Burning, a deep vampy purple holo with flaming copper sparkle and shift. My inspiration for the polish color came from this photo and a poem, The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. The coppery sparks and name come from the section of the poem where he is flaming mad about the noise outside:
I also wanted to see if Soul Within Me Burning would stamp, since it is so opaque. I used Amanda's polish as the base color and then stamped stars from VL002 and a unicorn from VL019 with my clear stamper. Then I topped the accent nail with a coat of Vapid Hollow for an extra sparkly unicorn.
I absolutely love all the polishes offered in this box, and I am certain that you will too!
Be sure to enter the giveaway if you haven't already, there's only a couple of days left!
Best of luck on the giveaway - and if you aren't the winner, rest assured, you can still get these beautiful polishes at the pre-order launch!

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,I wore two coats with topcoat and the formula was fantastic, as we have come to expect with any LitLaq polish.
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.
“Surely,” said I, “surely that is something at my window lattice;
Let me see, then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore—
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore;—
’Tis the wind and nothing more!”

Painted Sabotage: Holiday Cheer and The Mermaid's Song
Painted Sabotage makes beautiful polishes with excellent formula, but I don't see them on many blogs or talked about as much as other indies. All I can say about that is you guys are missing out! If you haven't tried PS, you definitely should!
Holiday Cheer is a colorful topper packed with various shapes and sizes of glitter. Here I've worn it over a periwinkle holo from Literary Lacquers called There is Your Treasure. I love how these pair with each other! The glitter on the nail that you see in the photos is what you get in two coats with no special effort. I haven't noticed any sinking in the bottle either. I topped with a coat of gelous and then my usual topcoat to smooth.
The Mermaid's Song is a beautifully done turquoise crelly with a sprinkling of dot and hex glitters. It's bright and summer-like hues remind me of pool-side fun and sunshine! The formula did not streak or clump up at all. Very fluid and easy to control on the nail. I wore two coats with topcoat for photos.
The Mermaid's Song is available now at the Painted Sabotage shop along with many other pretty polishes. Give them a try and/or join the facebook group, you'll be glad you did!

Ever After: Golden Afternoon
Ever After's Golden Afternoon spring collection is a quad of varying finishes, so there is something for everyone! The collection launches April 8th, 4pm CDT at the Ever After shop. Rachel is also stocking earrings, water slide decals and heaps of crelly on the launch day.
As always the polish color descriptions are provided to me by the brand so that each polish is accurately described. My comments are underneath.
Bread & Butterflies - Peach Crelly base with scattered holo and ucc flakes
I wore two coats with topcoat. The polish has a smooth glossy finish on its own and it has a nice fluid formula.
Don't Wake Me in the Morning Glory - purple Crelly base with opal and iridescent glitters in various sizes with a navy blue microflake
I wore three coats and touched up a few spots where I had painted unevenly. The polish has a fairly smooth and crelly like finish with an easy to apply formula, no issues to report.
Month of June - seafoam green/blue with ucc flakes, scattered holo and blue to green shifting shimmer
I wore two coats with topcoat. The polish has a smooth glossy finish on its own and has a fluid formula.
Lazy Daisies - white Crelly base with gold and platinum flakes and scattered holo
