April Indie-Go Box: Literary Lacquer Leaping Greenly
Today is the first day of Spring!!! Yippeeee!
What better way to celebrate it than sneak previewing a vibrant green polish for April's Earth Day themed Indie-Go Box? Right!?
Leaping Greenly is a warm spring green where sprinklings of copper glass flecks dance around the holo rainbow! Can't ya just feel it? Warm sunny rays, moderate temperatures, grass and leaves bursting forth, flower buds about to blossom... -wistful sigh-
I am so ready for it, how about you?
Leaping Greenly is inspired by the poem "i thank You God for most this amazing" (1950):
i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and love and wings;and of the gay
great happening ilimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any - lifted from the no
of all nothing - human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
– e.e. cummings
The new formula Amy is using for new polishes now is awesome! It is buttery smooth and very easy to work with during application. The scent of the new base is the same as the original and the dry time is about the same. I wore two coats to achieve opacity and I've only just applied it before writing this entry so I cannot comment on wear time, but I hear it wears like iron!
I told Amy that the newly formulated base had tough competition because I really love her original formula. I'm very pleased to say that the new formula has won me over. :)
The other three contributors to the April Indie-Go box are: Ethereal Lacquer, Stardust Polish and Love, Angeline. The April box will be available for pre-sale at 2pm CDT on March 21-23 at the Ethereal Lacquer shop.
